My name is Felipe Voigt and I have joint German and Chilean nationality. I was born in the Saarland, Germany to a family that had left Chile due to political circumstances in 1973. At age 13 I came to live in Chile, currently residing in Viña del Mar.
I am a profession journalist, graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso, a lover of communications and a passionate guide. I intensively enjoy travel, nature, and contact with people and animals, as well as sports.
As a guide I have accumulated extensive work experience, traveling and organizing logistics, as well as working in travel company’s offices. I have covered varied services ranging from adventure tourism to the most exclusive and high-end segments, with preference for cruises and expeditions.
During my career I have accompanied international tourists - in both German and English - to different destinations in South America as well as leading expeditions to Antarctica. I have received numerous acknowledgments for my work from the tourism industry, including becoming the "Tour Director 2016 Award” for an Australian firm.
During the pandemic I expanded and diversified my horizons as a German and English translator and interpreter and also perfecting my knowledge in digital marketing and networking.
